Name: Asiaa Khatun Nijmawana, Gazipur The Asiaa Khatun household are participants in the four month long “Digits to All” pilot project funded by Amadeyr Cloud Limited. The focus of the pilot is to disseminate information using technology. Using a simple touch screen tablet, households can learn about: health issues; education; agriculture (also poultry/ fish/cattle farming); and general information such as government services/their rights/ and small enterprise development. The majority of the information on the tablet is in audio/visual form so that semi literate and illiterate persons can easily understand the content. Asiaa Khatun , ( age 70) learned how to write her name using the Amadeyr cloud Okkhor application. She also learned how to produce organic fertilizer from the contents provided in Amadeyr tablet.
